Day 01

Welcome to Auckland - Your First Stop

Your New Zealand tour package starts today as you land in Auckland, the largest city in the country, and your gateway to the North Island.

Meet your private chauffeur at the airport and take a smooth and comfortable drive to your hotel in the city center. After reaching, check in to the Vr Queen Street Hotel and take some time to rest after the long flight.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You can step out with your partner and explore:

Waterfront and Viaduct Harbor: Walk along the waterfront and find a spot for dinner with harbor views. A good first evening in Auckland.
Sky Tower: Visit the observation deck of the Sky Tower to enjoy the amazing views of Auckland and the water on all sides.

Head back to the hotel for a quiet first night and let New Zealand slowly begin.

Day 02

Auckland Exploration at Leisure

After breakfast, pick up your compact SUV from the city center and prepare yourself for the amazing self-drive days ahead.

Today, you and your loved one have the full day to explore the city at your own pace. The North Island is full of coastline, volcanic lookouts, and easy drives, and gives you a first taste of what New Zealand’s roads feel like.

Head out with your partner and explore the city’s best spots:

Mission Bay and Tamaki Drive: Drive along this coastal road for cafes, a beach strip, and views of Rangitoto Island sitting out in the harbor.
Mount Eden Lookout: Drive up to this volcanic mountain and walk to the summit for a breathtaking view of Auckland and its two harbors. It is one of the best viewpoints in the city.
Devonport: Cross the Harbor Bridge and spend time in this seaside village with lookout points.
Piha Beach: Drive west for one of New Zealand’s most beautiful black-sand beaches with rugged cliffs and good surfing conditions.
Auckland Museum and Domain Park: If time allows, visit the Auckland Museum and Domain Park to witness New Zealand’s Maori culture and natural history.

Day 03

Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo Glowworm Caves

Pack your bags and say goodbye to Auckland. Your New Zealand tour package today takes you on one of the most memorable drives on the North Island.

Start your self-drive journey from Auckland to Rotorua. The drive takes you through the green farmland of the Waikato region.

En route, take a stop at:

Waitomo Glowworm Caves: Step into the famous glowworm caves. Take a walk through ancient limestone chambers with your guide, then board a silent boat through Glowworm Grotto, where thousands of tiny glowworms light up above your head. It feels intimate and magical, creating one of those moments you will carry home with you.
Hamilton Gardens or Lake Karapiro: If time allows, stop in Hamilton for a walk through the award-winning themed gardens, or take a break at Lake Karapiro for quiet lake views and a short break.

Arrive in Rotorua by evening, check in to Rydges Rotorua, and take a rest for the day.

Day 04

Rotorua Exploration with Culture and Nature

After breakfast, get ready for a full day of Rotorua’s best, all at your own pace. Rotorua brings together ancient Maori culture, geothermal wonder, and forest adventure all in one day.

You’ll spend your day exploring different sides of the region, from traditions to nature to relaxation.

The day entails:

Te Puia Cultural Centre: Start here for a guided experience of Te Whakarewarewa Valley, where you will see the famous Pohutu Geyser erupt and watch a haka performance with traditional Maori arts and crafts on display.
Kiwi Conservation Centre: Visit the Kiwi Conservation Centre and get a chance to watch New Zealand’s national bird up close.
Hell’s Gate Mud Spa: Experience natural mud baths and sulphur spas. Soak in warm geothermal mud together, then relax in naturally heated sulfur pools.
Redwood Treewalk: End the day with a dreamlike world at the Rotorua Redwoods Treewalk. Walk across suspended bridges and watch the forest glow with soft lanterns, creating a romantic and magical experience for you and your loved one.

Return to the hotel for a quiet dinner.

Day 05

Rotorua to Auckland, then fly to Queenstown

This morning, get ready to leave Rotorua as today your New Zealand trip package moves from the North Island to the South.

After reaching the Auckland Airport, drop off your rental car, and board the flight to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world.

As you descend, watch the snow-capped mountains, beautiful lakes, and valleys below. Exit the airport, pick up your convertible car, and take a drive to the hotel with Lake Wakatipu on one side and mountains on the other.

The rest of the evening is yours to explore the town at your own leisure. You can walk along the lakefront along Marine Parade, find a good dinner spot on Beach Street, or simply sit by the water, having a good time with your partner.

Day 06

Day Tour - Cromwell, Wanaka, and Clyde

After breakfast, take your convertible out for a full day through Central Otago. The day takes you through one of New Zealand’s most rewarding driving regions. You’ll explore the beautiful Central Otago region, known for its lakes, mountains, and charming towns.

The day covers:

Puzzling World, Wanaka: Start here for a genuinely entertaining experience. Walk the Great Maze, then move through rooms full of optical illusions and tricks. Enjoy this entertaining experience with your partner.
Lake Wanaka: Spend time by Lake Wanaka. The lake is calm and wide, with the Alps reflected on a clear day. Watch the famous lone tree standing peacefully in the water. Walk along the shore together or find a cafe with a view.
Cromwell Old Town: Stop in the historic precinct of Cromwell for a walk through the heritage buildings preserved.
Clyde: Drive through this small historic town with its original gold-rush architecture, a good cafe strip, and a relaxed pace that makes it worth a short stop.

Day 07

Queenstown Adventure Day

Today brings a mix of thrill and views in Queenstown. Get ready to experience the fun, joy, and adventures.

You’ll cover:

Jet Boat Ride: Race across Lake Wakatipu and through the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers at high speed. Hold on tight as the boat spins, drifts, and rushes through narrow river canyons.
Skyline Gondola to Bob’s Peak: Take the gondola up and spend time at the top with your partner, enjoying views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The gondola ride at dusk gives you Queenstown at its most beautiful.
3 Luge Rides: Sit on your luge cart and ride down the track with your partner. Share laughs, smiles, and feel the cool air as you go down.

Come back down, find a good restaurant in town, and spend the evening with your partner.

Day 08

Scenic Day Around Glenorchy and Arrowtown

Today is perfect for exploring some of the most beautiful areas around Queenstown. The drive takes you to a mountain village, a gold-rush town, and a quiet mountain lake.

You can step out with your partner and explore:

Glenorchy: Drive along the western shore of Lake Wakatipu to reach this small village. Known as the Gateway to Paradise. Walk along the shore, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the calm surroundings together.
Arrowtown: A charming old town with cozy streets and cafes. Perfect for a relaxed walk, a coffee stop, and soaking in the old-world vibe.
Moke Lake: A quiet, hidden spot surrounded by mountains. Ideal for a peaceful pause, sitting by the water, and enjoying the silence.

Return to Queenstown for your final night in the adventure capital.

Day 09

Milford Sound Day Trip and Stay in Te Anau

Start your day early. Get ready for one of the most romantic days of your New Zealand holiday package. Start your drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound, the journey takes you through the dramatic landscapes of Fiordland National Park.

On the way, take a stop at:

Mirror Lakes: A short stop where the mountains reflect perfectly on the still water below.
The Chasm: Walk a short distance to a gorge where the river has carved strange shapes through the rock.

After arriving at Milford Sound, get ready for the cruise. The tour will take you through:

Milford Sound Cruise: Board your cruise and sail through the calm waters surrounded by tall cliffs and waterfalls. Explore the beauty of Milford Sound, also known as one of the ‘eight wonders of the world’. Share romantic moments and create lifelong memories with your partner. If you’re lucky, you can also spot seals resting on rocks along the way.

After the cruise, drive to Te Anau, check into your hotel, and take some time to rest and relax from the long day.

Day 10

Queenstown to Mount Cook to Lake Tekapo

After breakfast, check out of Te Anau and start your day. Today, you’ll experience one of the highlights of your South Island trip. Take a drive through Mackenzie Basin towards Mount Cook. As you continue driving, enjoy the amazing landscape views of New Zealand.

Upon arrival at Mount Cook, prepare yourself for a helicopter ride.

Helicopter Ride over the Southern Alps: Board the helicopter at Mount Cook and fly above the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps. If conditions allow, your pilot will land on the snow. Enjoy the ride and make sure to take photos together.

After the experience, continue your drive to Lake Tekapo. Check into your hotel, make yourself comfortable, and get ready to explore the town. You can step out and visit:

Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd: Visit the turquoise lake. Hold your partner close to you and spend quality time together. Walk to the small stone Church of the Good Shepherd on the lakeshore and step inside. Enjoy the amazing views of the mountains and the lake through the altar windows.
Alpine Stargazing: As the night comes, step into the open sky and witness millions of stars shining above your head. Enjoy the special moment made just for the two of you. Your guide will take you through the constellations and the Milky Way. Click pictures and take them home as a memory of this special night of your New Zealand trip package.

Day 11

Lake Tekapo to Christchurch

After breakfast, take one last look at the lake before packing up and heading east.

The drive from Lake Tekapo to Christchurch passes through the Mackenzie Basin and Canterbury Plains. On the way, take stops at Mount Hutt and the Rakaia Gorge.

After reaching Christchurch, complete the check-in process and take the afternoon to explore the city on your own.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You can step out with your partner and explore:

Sumner Beach and Cave Rock: Drive to this coastal village for a sandy beach, good cafes, and a natural sea cave you can walk through at low tide.
Port Hills and Sign of the Kiwi: Head up into the hills for lookout points with wide views over Christchurch, the Canterbury Plains, and Lyttelton Harbor on the other side.
Lyttelton: A short drive over the hill leads to this harbor town with a weekend farmers market, craft breweries, and a genuine local feel.

Day 12

City Exploration in Christchurch

Get ready to enjoy the last full day in New Zealand, exploring the best of Christchurch. The day takes you through:

International Antarctic Centre: Start your morning here. Experience the Antarctic storm simulation, meet the rescued Little Blue Penguins, take the Hagglund ride across rugged terrain, and explore the 4D and HD theatres together.
Christchurch Botanic Gardens: Stroll through the gardens along the Avon River, walk under the trees, and enjoy the calm green spaces right in the heart of the city.
New Regent Street: Walk down this colorful Spanish Mission-style street, explore the shops, and find a good spot for dinner in the evening.

Day 13

Final Few Hours in New Zealand

Your 13-day New Zealand tour package ends today. After breakfast, pack your bags, drop off the convertible at Christchurch Airport, and make your way to the international terminal. Check in for your return flight to India and carry home all the good memories across two islands – from glowworm caves and geothermal valleys in the north to glaciers, fiords, and a starlit sky in the South.
