Day 01

Fresh Beginning in Auckland

Welcome to New Zealand! Your romantic getaway starts from the city in the North Island - Auckland. After completing the immigration, exit the airport and head straight to the rental car desk. Pick up your comfortable compact SUV and start the self-drive to the city.

Enjoy the drive to your hotel, giving you your first look at Auckland’s streets and harbour views. After arriving at the hotel, check in and make yourself comfortable. Take some time to rest before you head out to explore the city.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy Auckland with your partner. You can take a romantic walk through the Auckland Domain & Wintergardens, climb Mount Eden for amazing views, explore the waterfront, and relax at a cafe. The first day is all about settling in and enjoying the vibe of New Zealand.

Day 02

Glowworm Magic and the Road to Rotorua

After completing your breakfast, leave Auckland and continue your journey to Waitomo. Enjoy the drive with your partner as you pass through breathtaking farmland and peaceful countryside, making your drive pleasant.

At Waitomo, step into the famous glowworm caves. Walk through quiet limestone paths and end the tour with a gentle boat ride under thousands of glowing lights. The cave feels calm, quiet, and magical.

Later, continue your drive towards Rotorua, famous for its geothermal land. Once you’ve reached the town, get a comfortable check-in and relax for the day.

Day 03

A Cultural Day in Rotorua

Today is all about experiencing the cultures and connections in Rotorua. Start your day by visiting Te Puia and learn about Maori traditions and culture, art, and daily life. Also, witness the world-famous Pōhutu Geyser in action and spend time understanding the stories that shape this land.

Next, inside the carved meeting house, witness the powerful Haka, a traditional Maori dance performance that surely gives you goosebumps and allows you to connect with the traditions of New Zealand.

In the evening, step into a dreamlike world at the Rotorua Redwoods Treewalk. Walk across suspended bridges and watch the forest glow with soft lanterns, creating a romantic and magical experience for you and your loved one.

Day 04

From Rotorua to Queenstown Skies

Today, say goodbye to Rotorua and drive back to Auckland Airport. Your New Zealand package takes you to the South Island today. Drop off your rental car, complete all the paperwork, and board the flight to Queenstown, adventure capital of New Zealand.

As the plane lands, mountains and blue lakes welcome you to the South. Pick up another rental car and start your drive to the hotel, enjoying the mesmerising views of Lake Wakatipu. After arriving, check into your hotel and get ready for the coming day.

The rest of the day is reserved for some fun adventures. Take the skyline gondola ride to Bob’s Peak and enjoy the breathtaking views of Queenstown from the top. Spend some romantic time with your partner before you head for the next adventure lined up for you.

Next, make your way to the three adventurous luge rides. Sit on your luge cart and ride down the track with your partner. Share laughs and enjoy the wholesome moment together.

Before you head back to the hotel, end the day with a quiet, romantic dinner with your partner by the lake.

Day 05

Love in Milford Sound

Start your day early for one of the most scenic drives in New Zealand. The day is all about feeling nature and romance together. En route to Milford Sound, take a pause at Mirror Lakes and witness the mountains reflecting clearly on still water. Also, you can take breaks at The Chasm, Homer Tunnel, and Fiordland viewpoints for a perfect drive to Milford.

Once you've arrived, hop onto a cruise for an ultimate magical experience. Explore the beauty of Milford Sound, also known as one of the ‘eight wonders of the world’. Sail through the calm waters surrounded by tall cliffs and breathtaking waterfalls.

If you’re lucky enough, you can also witness the seals resting on the rocks. Share romantic moments and create lifelong memories with your partner. After the cruise, return to Queenstown.

Day 06

A Romantic Day by the Lakes

Today is a slow and peaceful day to enjoy with your partner. You will visit beautiful lakes and small towns around Queenstown. Spend a happy time together while being surrounded by perfect natural views.

Start your day with a short drive to Moke Lake. The water here looks like a mirror, and the views will leave you and your partner amazed. Take a walk around the lake and enjoy the quiet moments together.

Next, visit Lake Hayes. There is an easy walkway around the lake where you can walk side by side. The water is calm, the trees are beautiful, and the place feels perfect for you and your partner.

Later, drive to Wanaka and explore the peaceful lakeside town. You can walk along the lake and see the famous Wanaka Tree standing alone in the water.

Day 07

Drive to Lake Tekapo, via Mount Cook

Your New Zealand journey takes you to Mount Cook through one of the most spectacular alpine drives. Pack your bags, make yourself comfortable in your vehicle, and enjoy the drive with your partner.

As you continue driving, you will enter Lindis Pass. Stop at the lookout points and enjoy the breathtaking views of the golden hills with your partner. Next, en route, you will reach Lake Pukaki. Watch the crystal, blue water and the majestic Mount Cook in the background.

When you reach Mount Cook Village, you can rest for a while before your helicopter ride.

If the weather is good, enjoy a short Alpine Helicopter Ride. The helicopter takes you up into the sky, where you can see snowy mountains, deep valleys, and glaciers from above.

After this magical moment, continue your journey to Lake Tekapo. The drive is calm and filled with lovely views of mountains, plains, and lakes. Once you’ve reached, check in, and take some rest from the journey.

Start your day by visiting the Church of Good Shepherd, where you can enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere. If you and your partner enjoy cycling, you can ride through the Tekapo Regional Park, where tall trees and quiet paths make the day more relaxing.

As the night comes, get ready for another magical experience in New Zealand. Join a guided stargazing tour to experience millions of stars twinkling above your head. Hold your partner close to you and spend a romantic evening.

Day 09

Journey to Christchurch

This morning, bid farewell to Lake Tekapo and start your self-drive journey to Christchurch, the final destination of your New Zealand package. Enjoy the drive with your partner as you pass through open plains, mountains, and the blue lakes.

On the way to Christchurch, you can take stops at Mackenzie Basin and the Rakaia Gorge for the amazing views. After reaching, check into the room, and make yourself at ease. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your own pace.

You may visit the Botanic Gardens or take a slow walk beside the Avon River. Later, in the evening, you can head to Riverside Market or The Terrace to enjoy a relaxed and pleasant time in the city.

Today is your last night of this New Zealand journey. The day is made to have fun and explore the charm of the city. Start your day with an exciting visit to the International Antarctic Centre. Later, take the Hagglund ride and enjoy the bumpy journey as you laugh along the way. Spend time watching the rescued penguins and learning their stories. You can also enjoy 4D movies, small exhibits, and rooms where you can learn about snowy lands and animals.
